In this blog, SuperMalcom will share with you 3 simple strategy you can use to double your income.

1. Boost your Dance pricing

The first way for you to earn more income is essentially you want to boost up your price. So what I do is at the end of the year, I usually add up more into my pricing. So say, for example, if our charge for a private session, charge £100, at the end of the year is going to go up £105, or £110, depending on what it is that I’m offering.

So what you want to do is to find a time of the year, where you’re going to say, “Okay, now it’s time for me to put my prices up”. And you can justify that very easily because of yearly inflation.

What I see dancers do most of the time is that they keep the same price for many years. So the cost of living goes up, but their prices will stay the same. So essentially, you are earning less money. So you want to find time, once a year, to at least boost up your prices. And especially if you’ve done many things in a dance scene like winning more competitions. This is another way to justify your price increase, but usually, you don’t even have to go that far.

2. Offer an upsell for your Dance services

The second way is for you to offer some form of upselling to your clients. For example, what I like to do with my private sessions or even dance classes, is find a way to upsell my students by giving them something extra. So for example you can say to your client, instead of paying £100 for one session why not buy 10 sessions for £85/session. That way you will be earning more and they will be saving more. And also what’s going to happen is you’re going to be able to keep that client for a longer period.

3. Diversify dance income

You need to look at ways on how you can diversify what you are offering to your client. For example, if you know teaching dance classes, you can tell your clients that they could have access to the classes replay plus music playlist for an extra fee of £5/month. You could basically add on whatever you think your customer needs.

Conclusion

If you add all of these together easier, you’re going to be able to double or even triple your income as a dancer. These are the three tips which you can use anyhow you want.
